Hyde Pierce and Monk Lend Support to "Good Morning America" Coat Drive

David Hyde Pierce and Debra Monk, the Tony and Emmy-Award winning stars of Broadway's Curtains, will appear on "Good Morning America" 8 AM (ET) Jan. 18.

The stars will take part in the "Good Morning America Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive." In the New York area "Good Morning America" airs on WABC-TV Channel 7; check local listings.

The "Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive" is a national coat drive in which "Good Morning America" is "reaching out to its viewers across the country to donate gently worn coats to Burlington Coat Factory's 379 stores."

In Curtains, 2007 Tony Award winner and four-time Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce stars as Lt. Frank Cioffi, and Tony and Emmy Award winner Debra Monk plays producer Carmen Bernstein. The musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb, Rupert Holmes and Peter Stone concerns a backstage murder during the Boston tryout of a musical comedy. Performances play Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
