Three performances of the new musical comedy Heaven Knows will be presented at New Jersey's Westminster Arts Center Jan. 31-Feb. 2.
Heaven Knows features book, music and lyrics by Charles Bloom. The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "Meet Kate. God is going to. . .A neurotic NY actress, who thinks she knows it all, gets to spend 24 hours with Someone who really does: 'all' as in the 'Almighty,' that is. In an assortment of hilarious incarnations, God takes Kate on a 'Holy Roller'-coaster ride through her life, loves & lunacies & helps her to learn, through tears & laughter that, about some things, 'Father' really does know best and, about others, He doesn't have a clue."
The creative team also includes musical director Rich Lovallo, choreographer Philippe Levesque, production manager Gregory Allen and stage manager Martha Thalheimer.
A talk-back session with the creative team will follow each performance.
The Westminster Arts Center is located at the corner of Franklin and Fremont Streets in Bloomfield, NJ. Admission is $10; call (973) 748-9008, ext. 279 for more information or visit 4thwalltheatre.com.
