Songs of Heisler, Goldrich and More to Be Featured in Free Songbook Concert

The acclaimed Songbook series — produced, directed and hosted by John F. Znidarsic — will continue Jan. 29.

Presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul's, the free 6 PM concert at the Donnell Library Theater in Manhattan will feature songs penned by Manhattan-based writers all performed by students from Marymount Manhattan College.

Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes that were written by Madelyn Barbreo, Nancy Barrett, Michael Cooper, Patrick Dwyer, Steve Fisher, Zina Goldrich, Kathy Hart, Sean Hartley, Marcy Heisler, Noel Katz, Nicholas Levin, Jeffrey Lodin, Richard Mancini, Ben Moore, Peter Napolitano, John Prestianni, Rob Rokicki, Brian Sherman, Steven Silverstein, Joan Sorkin, Bill Squier, Tom Stuart and Matthew Ward.

Student performers will include Stephanie M. Card, Caroline Collins, Heather E. Copps, Alfred J. Cote, Donald R. Crowl, Richard A. Derenzis, Eugene I. Fertelmeyster, Mia A. Johnson, John D. Kraemer, Emily Raver-Lampman, Michael Longo, Matthew Mackey, Matthew J. Mancuso, Alyssa L. Nastasia, Jessica E. O'Brien, Lauren Ashley Orlando, John P. Raymond, Ashleigh A. Rotondo, Courtney A. Simmons, Michael D. Smith, Morgan D. Smith, Brian C. Veith, Joel R. Walker and Adrienne L. Warren.
