Following a limited engagement this past summer at City Center, this acclaimed mounting of Gypsy moves to Broadway. Patti LuPone stars as Mama Rose, with most of the City Center cast intact. This consummate show-biz musical suggested by the memoirs of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee features a vibrant score including such songs as "Some People," "Everything's Coming Up Roses" and "Rose's Turn."
