Tony Winner Lenox, Portia and Slezak Will Join Gleason in Off-Broadway's Something You Did

| photo by Aubrey Reuben | Adriane Lenox, Portia and Victor Slezak have joined the cast of the upcoming Primary Stages production of Willy Holtzman's Something You Did starring the previously announced Joanna Gleason and Jordan Charney.
Carolyn Cantor directs the New York premiere of the work, which is slated to run March 18-April 26. Opening night is scheduled for April 1.
Gleason and Charney (Hearts) will now be joined by Tony Award winner Lenox (Doubt), Portia (Our Lady of 121st Street) and Slezak (Beauty on the Vine).
The design team has also been announced: Eugene Lee (sets), Jenny Mannis (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting) and Lindsay Jones (sound). Samone Weissman serves as production stage Manager.
With Something You Did, Holtzman (Sabina) pens a drama that centers on "a notorious sixties radical who has served nearly 30 years in prison for her part in the accidental killing of an African-American police officer during an explosive war protest. Now she is eligible for parole in a post 9/11 world where bombing is terrorism and dissent is treason."
Gleason, who earned her Tony for Into the Woods, was last seen on Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels — for which she earned her third Tony nomination (her first nod was for Joe Egg). Other credits include I Love My Wife, The Real Thing, Social Security, Nick and Nora, The Normal Heart, It's Only a Play and Eleemosynary. On film she has been seen in "Hannah and Her Sisters," "Crimes and Misdemeanors," "Boogie Nights" and "Mr. Holland's Opus."
The Off-Broadway troupe currently presents the world-premiere run of Brooke Berman's Hunting and Gathering (through March 1). Something You Did concludes the company's 23rd season, which began with the New York premieres of Michael Hollinger's Opus and Horton Foote's Dividing the Estate. The latter is expected to head to Broadway next season.
