Rippey Will Head New Theatrical Marketing Company

Anne Rippey, former vice president of Broadway marketing for TMG, has joined the new theatrical marketing company, Type A Marketing.
Owned by Alan Wasser and Allan Williams of Wasser Associates general management, Rippey will head Type A Marketing, which will specialize in representing live entertainment on Broadway, as well as the road and international productions.
Among Type A's client list are the Broadway companies of A Catered Affair, A Chorus Line, The Phantom of the Opera and Thurgood, in addition to their touring counter-parts.
Also represented will be the current and upcoming tours of Ain't Misbehavin', Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, Curvy Widow, Go Diego Go, Flat Stanley, Little House on the Prairie, My Fair Lady and Xanadu.
