Venetia-Belcon, Thomas, Davis and More Will Be Part of Homemade Fusion Feb. 18

Homemade Fusion, which is described as a series of "musical snapshots" from the minds of Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (lyrics), will be presented Feb. 18 at the Zipper Factory.

Directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar, the 9:30 PM concert will feature the talents of Natalie Venetia-Belcon (Avenue Q, The Glorious Ones), Marty Thomas (Xanadu, Wicked), Kirsten Bracken (Hairspray), Anderson Davis (Les Miserables), Andrew Kober (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Hair), Marissa Lesch (Dani Girl), Kara Lindsay (Lone Star Love), Patina Miller (Hair, Sister Act The Musical) and Matthew Scott (Jersey Boys, A Catered Affair).

Each snapshot in Homemade Fusion, press notes state, "attempts to make sense of an increasingly senseless world by examining the paradox of modern times. At once dangerously cynical and desperately romantic, it is a tale of love, loss, and candy bars."

The creative team for the evening comprises Patrick Lynch (set/costume design), Graham Posner (lighting design) and Hallie Stern (graphic design). Kevin Emrick produces; Evan Katz is associate producer and assistant director.

Homemade Fusion made its world premiere at Carnegie Mellon University in the spring of 2006. The production transferred to the Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret Theatre later that year.

The Zipper Theatre is located in Manhattan at 336 West 37th Street in Manhattan, between 8th and 9th Avenues. For tickets visit www.thezipperfactory.com or call (212) 352-3101.
