Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik spoke about the creation of Spring Awakening Feb. 21 when The Songwriters Hall of Fame launched its new series, "Words About Music."

The sold-out event also featured performances from original Spring cast members John Gallagher, Jr. and Lauren Pritchard, who were accompanied by a six-piece string ensemble with piano.
The evening also included songs from various Sater and Sheik projects and concluded with a special performance of "Night Has None" from the duo's newest project, Nightingale.
