Emond, Johnson, Herrero, Wolf and More Set for Seven Reading

A by-invitation-only reading of the documentary play Seven will be presented in Manhattan March 6.

The cast for the reading boasts Linda Emond, Mercedes Herrero, Rachael Holmes, Christine Toy Johnson, Mahira Kakkar, Joan MacIntosh and Rita Wolf. Evan Yionoulis directs.

Vital Voices Global Partnership and Diane von Furstenberg are presenting the reading in honor of International Women's Day. The play is a collaboration between Vital Voices and seven women playwrights: Paula Cizmar, Catherine Filloux, Gail Kriegel, Carol K. Mack, Ruth Margraff, Anna Deavere Smith and Susan Yankowitz.

Seven, according to press notes, "is a commanding reminder of the transformative power of women's leadership."
