PHOTO CALL: Gypsy of This Year Hits Broadway

Gypsy is back on Broadway with recent Encores! stars Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti and Boyd Gaines leading the way.
Bookwriter Arthur Laurents directs the new Broadway revival, which also features Leigh Ann Larkin, Tony Yazbeck, Marilyn Caskey, Lenora Nemetz and Alison Fraser.
Jule Styne composed the music and Stephen Sondheim provided the lyrics to this tale of a stage mother who pushes her daughters to dance and sing in front of the footlights.
The new production began previews March 3 and will officially open at the St. James Theatre March 27.
