Legally Blonde Reality Casting Show Seeks Audience Members for Finale

By Andrew Gans
16 Mar 2008

Producers of the Legally Blonde reality casting program — which is searching for an actress to succeed Laura Bell Bundy in the new Broadway musical — would like diehard Blonde fans to attend the finale of the TV program, which will air on MTV.

On March 18 at the Palace Theatre, the final contestants will compete for the role of Elle Woods in the Broadway musical based on the film of the same name. Haylie Duff will host the finale.

Those who wish to attend the filming will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. Those under 18 may have a parent accompany them, and the parent can sign the release.

Attendees — who should appear to be between the age of 15 and 30 — must be in their seats at the Palace Theatre (47th Street and Broadway) by 3 PM; taping will begin at 3:30 PM and run to 8 PM. Dress is casual.

According to an announcement, those who attend the filming will "get to be a part of the final - on stage challenges - and cheer for your favorite 'Elle' as she fights to win this coveted role. You will be witness to the new 'Elle' and share in her excitement as she wins the role of a lifetime!"

To reserve a spot in the audience, e-mail legallyblondeonmtv@gmail.com. Include full name; number of people that are coming with you (there is no limit to how many people you request seats for - be sure you can fill those seats); and phone number. A confirmation e-mail will be sent with final directions for the taping.

Seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
