In addition to the officially announced revivals of Pal Joey and Dancin' at Broadway's Studio 54, the resident not-for-profit is expected to stage the following (although these are listed as plays under consideration):
Robert Bolt's A Man for All Seasons, the drama about Sir Thomas More, a devout Catholic and a loyal subject of King Henry VIII, directed by Doug Hughes (A Touch of the Poet, Naked Girl, Doubt) at the American Airlines Theatre in fall 2008.
Streamers, David Rabe's Vietnam-era drama of four soldiers awaiting orders in 1965, directed by Scott Ellis (Twelve Angry Men) at Off-Broadway's Laura Pels in fall 2008. (Ellis staged the play for Boston's Huntington Theatre Company in fall 2007, and helmed a free New York City reading of it for Roundabout Theatre Company subscribers at the American Airlines Theatre in 2007.)
The New York premiere of Distracted, Lisa Loomer's drama of a mom dealing with her child's learning disability, directed by Mark Brokaw (Cry-Baby) at the Laura Pels in winter 2008-09.
