Bonney to Stage The Fever Chart for Public LAB; Cast Named

The Public Theater has announced casting for the Public LAB production of The Fever Chart: Three Visions of the Middle East, to be directed by Jo Bonney.
Penned by Naomi Wallace, The Fever Chart, set in three different locations in the Middle East, "explores political tensions by grounding them in the human issues of love, life, and death," according to Public LAB notes.
The cast includes Lameece Issaq (The Black Eyed, Stuff Happens), Omar Metwally (Sixteen Wounded), Arian Moayed (Queens Boulevard) and Waleed F. Zuaiter (Betrayed).
The Fever Chart will run April 25-May 11.
Bonney's directorial credits include All That I Will Ever Be, subUrbia, Fat Pig. Wallace's previous works include One Flea Spare and The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek.
"These three plays are magical and heartbreaking. I'm thrilled we can offer them to the public," stated Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis.
Creative duties for The Fever Chart are handled by Rachel Hauck (scenic design), Ilona Somogyi (costume design) and Lap Chi Chu (lighting design).
The Public LAB productions – uniting the Public and LAByrinth Theater companies – are staged following brief rehearsal periods and utilize minimal design for the stage. Upcoming works in the series include The Civilians' Steven Cosson and Michael Friedman's presentation of Paris Commune (April 4-20); The Good Negro by Tracey Scott Wilson (May 16-June 1); Rebecca Cohen's Penalties & Interest (June 10-28); and Scott Hudson's Sweet Storm (June 28-29).
