"So You Think You Can Dance" Star Haskell to Join Off-Broadway's Altar Boyz

Neil Haskell

Neil Haskell, seen on the Fox reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" and in Broadway's The Times They Are A Changin', will join the Off-Broadway company of Altar Boyz April 22.

Haskell will succeed Jesse JP Johnson in the role of Luke. The actor will join a cast that includes Michael Kadin Craig, Jay Garcia, Ryan J Ratliff and Ryan Strand.

Neil Haskell has also been seen on screen in "One Life to Live" and "The American Mall." His regional theatre credits include productions of Beauty and the Beast, 42nd Street, Grease and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

A 2005 Outer Critics Circle winner, Altar Boyz is directed by Stafford Arima with choreography by Christopher Gattelli. Music and lyrics are by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.

In addition to the successful Off-Broadway production, Altar Boyz recently completed a national tour and also premiered worldwide productions in South Korea, Hungary, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Australia and Japan.
