Anne Kauffman (The Thugs) directs the work that will officially open April 17 at the downtown venue. The run is slated through May 18.
The company includes original cast members Gibson Frazier, Judith Greentree, Christina Kirk, Raymond McAnally, Matthew Montelongo and Monique Vukovic as well as Rebecca Wisocky.
Vineyard teams with New Georges for the new run of the drama that centers on a young couple struggling with life after losing their son. Their only guides are their daughter Lanie, the Tooth Fairy and G.I. Joe.
The production also reunites the original design team featuring Kris Stone (scenic), Olivera Gajic (costume), Tyler Micoleau (lighting) and Leah Gelpe (sound).
"I believe Jenny Schwartz to be a major new writer for the theatre," said artistic director Doug Aibel. "Jenny first worked with The Vineyard as an intern in our literary office some years ago, and then we had the honor of collaborating with her on a series of readings and workshops… We are pleased to be able to give God's Ear another opportunity to be experienced by more theatergoers."
For tickets to God's Ear at the Vineyard Theatre, 108 East 15th Street, call (212) 353-0303 or visit vineyardtheatre.org.
