Tony Award winner Michele Pawk will direct two benefit performances of the new comedy about motherhood, The Momologues.

The May 8 and 10 performances will be held at the Axis Theatre Company in Greenwich Village; proceeds from the 7 PM evenings will go to The Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which benefits breast cancer awareness and research.

Pawk will direct a cast that includes Ann Harada, Liz Larsen and Sandy Rustin; a fourth cast member will be announced at a later date.

Penned by Boston-based moms Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier and Sheila Eppolito, The Momologues, according to a press release, is "a hilarious take on the ups and downs of motherhood and celebrates the toughest job that a woman would ever love. The Momologues takes on a broad range of topics from mommy vacations, otherwise known as colonoscopies, Valentine's Day, sex, or lack thereof, and the never-ending cycle of laundry."

The Axis Theatre Company is located at One Sheridan Square in Manhattan. Tickets, priced $25, are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or (866) 811-4111. For more information visit komennyc.org or www.myspace.com/momologues.
