Prince, Wopat, Kritzer, Cavenaugh and Fierstein to Perform at Barnes and Noble May 29

By Adam Hetrick
and Andrew Gans
01 May 2008

A Catered Affair's Hurley family will visit the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble May 29.

The musical's stars – including Faith Prince, Tom Wopat, Leslie Kritzer, Matt Cavenaugh and Harvey Fierstein – will make an in-store appearance at 5:30 PM. Joining the cast for the performance and signing will be A Catered Affair composer John Bucchino.

PS Classics recorded the new musical April 7 and is slated to release the original Broadway cast recording on May 27. Songs in the production include "Partners," "Ralph and Me," "Married," "Women Chatter," "No Fuss," "Your Children's Happiness," "Immediate Family," "Our Only Daughter," "Women Chatter 2," "One White Dress," "Vision," "Don't Ever Stop Saying 'I Love You'," "I Stayed," "Married (Reprise)," "Coney Island," "Don't Ever Stop Saying 'I Love You' (Reprise)," and "Coney Island (Reprise)."

The marriage-minded musical (based on the Paddy Chayefsky TV film and movie) is directed by Tony winner John Doyle, who helmed the actor-musician Broadway revivals of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd and Company. Constantine Kitsopoulos is the show's musical director; orchestrations were penned by Jonathan Tunick.

The Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street in Manhattan. For further information call (212) 595-6859 or visit www.bn.com.
