PHOTO CALL: Now Arriving on Broadway, Boeing-Boeing

By Ernio Hernandez
02 May 2008

Marc Camoletti's sixties comedy of errors, Boeing-Boeing, has arrived on Broadway following an acclaimed London production.

Matthew Warchus directed Mark Rylance in the West End revival, and both have made the trans-Atlantic flight to Broadway's Longacre Theatre.

A starry American cast joins the duo: Christine Baranski, Bradley Whitford, Gina Gershon, Mary McCormack and Kathryn Hahn.

Boeing-Boeing circles around "an architect living in Paris (Whitford) [who] has been successfully juggling three flight attendant fiancées (Gershon, Hahn and McCormack) with his housekeeper (Baranski) reluctantly playing romantic air-traffic controller as they fly in and out of his swank bachelor pad," as show notes reveal. "But when an old school pal (Rylance) visits, things get rather turbulent. Schedules change, flights are delayed and chaos ensues in this whirl of mayhem and matchmaking."

Here is a first look at the production:
