Cabaret favorite Michael Feinstein celebrates the work of Academy Award-winning lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman during his latest run at Feinstein's at Loews Regency, which begins May 8.

Feinstein presents his newest show, Celebrating 50 Years of Alan & Marilyn Bergman, through May 17 at the New York nightspot. He will be joined onstage by Alan Bergman as well as nightly guest stars.

For his premiere evening, Feinstein will welcome two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole.

Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Feinstein's renditions of such Bergman songs as "The Windmills of Your Mind," "How Do You Keep The Music Playing?" and "Where Do You Start?," among others. Feinstein will be backed by a quintet led by musical director John Oddo.

Oscar-winning lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman have written such songs as "The Way We Were," "The Promise," "Papa, Can You Hear Me?," "It Might Be You" and "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" They also wrote the lyrics for the Broadway musicals Something More! and Ballroom.

A four-time Grammy nominee, Michael Feinstein is often credited with reinvigorating the American popular song. The crooner has performed in concert halls around the world and on Broadway and now co-owns his own nightclub, Feinstein's at Loews Regency. His numerous solo recordings include "Michael and George: Feinstein Sings Gershwin," "Big City Rhythms" "Romance On Film, Romance On Broadway," "Michael Feinstein with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra," "Only One Life: The Songs of Jimmy Webb" and "Hopeless Romantics."

There is a $100 ($125 for premium seats) cover charge and a $40 food/drink minimum.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is located in Manhattan at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street. For tickets call (212) 339-4095.
