For four weeks of the extension, director Emma Rice will step into the role of Myrtle, currently being played by Tamzin Griffin. Rice will perform July 21-Aug. 18.

Also in the cast of the production, which opened Feb. 17, are Tristan Sturrock as Alec, Naomi Frederick as Laura, Amanda Lawrence as Beryl, Stuart McLoughlin as Stanley, Andy Williams as Fred/Albert and musicians Pete Judge and Alec Vann.

The Cinema on the Haymarket is a one-time theatre turned cinema, which has been pressed back into theatrical use for this production.
