Broadway belter Debbie Gravitte will sing Jerry Herman tunes in Up Close and Personal.

Jerry Herman: Up Close and Personal is the title of the May 10 evening with the Tony Award-winning composer that will be presented at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
Michael Kerker, the vice-president of ASCAP, will interview Herman during the 8 PM performance, which will be held in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The evening also boasts renditions of Herman tunes by such theatre favorites as Jason Graae, Debbie Gravitte and Ron Raines.
Jerry Herman: Up Close and Personal features musical direction by Don Pippin.
One of the theatre's most celebrated composers, Jerry Herman has written the scores for such Broadway musicals as Milk and Honey; Hello, Dolly!; Mame; Dear World; Mack & Mabel; The Grand Tour and La Cage aux Folles. He also contributed songs to A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine, and revues of his work include Jerry's Girls and An Evening with Jerry Herman. The songwriter won Tony Awards for his scores for Hello, Dolly! and La Cage aux Folles.
