Artist's Crossing Benefit Concert, with Harada, Llana and Blazer, Presented May 13

They Were You is the title of the May 13 concert to benefit The Artist's Crossing, the theatre company founded in 2004 by Judith Blazer, Joseph Bates and Landon Scott Heimbach.

The evening at the Barrow Street Theatre celebrates three generations of working artists. Those scheduled to perform include Rita Gardner, George S. Irving, Tom Jones, Yolande Bevan, Judith Blazer, Sherry Boone, Darius de Haas, Malcolm Gets, Ann Harada, Jose Llana, Daniel Reichard and cabaret veteran Julie Wilson. Show time is 7 PM.

Jack Cummings III, the artistic director of The Transport Group, directs the concert with musical direction and arrangements by Joseph Thalken and Steve Marzullo.

The Artist's Crossing, press notes state, is dedicated to "promoting, cultivating and fostering young talent by bringing together a diverse group of seasoned artists to mentor and guide them through workshops, the creation of new works and productions of existing repertoire." Proceeds from the evening will help fund upcoming master classes, intensives and performances. For more information visit www.ArtistsCrossing.com.

The Barrow Street Theatre is located in Manhattan at 27 Barrow Street.
