Peter Melnick, a Dozen-Plus Tony Nominees and Irving Berlin Tribute Featured on Playbill Radio

In addition to round-the-clock show tunes and Broadway news at the top of each hour, Playbill Radio offers the following special programming.

The schedule for the week of May 20-May 26 follows.

Center Stage
May 20: The grandson of Richard Rodgers, son of Linda Rodgers and cousin of Adam Guettel, Peter Melnick is the composer of last season's Off-Broadway musical Adrift in Macao, with book and lyrics by Christopher Durang. We chat with him about the show and listen to songs from the new cast recording.

Each week's new "Center Stage" show debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, May 21; 11 PM Wednesday, May 21; 2 PM Thursday, May 22; 11 AM Saturday, May 24; and 4 PM Sunday, May 25.

Edited versions of the "Center Stage" programs are available as podcasts.

Composer Spotlight
May 22: Part Three of Playbill's salute to music master Irving Berlin, who wrote thousands of songs in his 103-year life. We'll play some of the greatest, including hits from Annie Get Your Gun, Call Me Madam and Miss Liberty.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, May 23; 11 PM Friday, May 23; 8 PM Sunday, May 25; and 2 PM Monday, May 26.

This weekend's programming features Passing Strange at 11 AM Saturday, May 17 and 4 PM Sunday, May 18; Mary Beth Hurth of Top Girls at 4 PM Saturday, May 17 and 11 AM Sunday, May 18; and an Irving Berlin Salute at 8 PM Sunday, May 18 and 2 PM Monday, May 19.
