Master Harold... and the Boys original cast members Danny Glover and Lonny Price will reunite for a screen adaptation of the Athol Fugard work.

Variety reports that Price – who appeared opposite Glover in the 1982 Broadway premiere and directed the 2003 revival that also starred Glover – will direct the film, which is set in South Africa in the 1950's.

"Love Actually" actor Thomas Sangster will star in the title role that Price originated in the 1982 production. Glover, who played the younger servant in the Broadway premiere, repeats his 2003 performance as the older of the two servants.

Filming is slated to begin July 10 on location in Durban, South Africa.

Set in 1950's apartheid-stricken Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Master Harold centers on the longtime relationship between a 17-year-old white boy and the two middle-aged black men who are servants at his parents' St. Georges Park Tea Room. On a rainy afternoon, Sam and Willie practice their ballroom dancing at work when the young man enters and sets off a storm of fond memories and scholarly debate while underlying racial and class tensions brew.

Glover has appeared in such film as "Dreamgirls," "Manderlay," "The Exonerated," "Places in the Heart," "Witness," "The Color Purple," "The Lethal Weapon" series, "Angels in the Outfield" and "Beloved." Glover also starred to in the film version of Athol Fugard's play Boesman and Lena.

Lonny Price most recently staged the New York Philharmonic presentation of Camelot. His concert stagings for the Philharmonic also include Sweeney Todd and Candide. Price has directed the Broadway productions of 110 in the Shade, Urban Cowboy, Sally Marr… and her escorts, as well as A Class Act in which he also starred. As an actor Price has appeared in Merrily We Roll Along, Burn This, Rags and Broadway.
