Little Shop, Seussical and Millie Are Among Most-Produced High School Musicals

Yes, Disney's High School Musical is, unsurprisingly, one of the most-produced musicals in high schools around the country, but it isn't at the very top of the list: That spot belongs to the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical Little Shop of Horrors.
The Educational Theatre Association has announced the results of its annual survey of American high schools. The organization, according to its official website, surveyed 925 schools to determine the most-produced musicals, full-length plays and short plays.
The top titles in each category for the 2007 season follow:

2. Seussical, the Musical
3. Thoroughly Modern Millie
4. Disney's Beauty and the Beast

6. Grease
