Bogart, Emick and Phillips Will Be Part of "Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy" Season

Productions have been announced for the "Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy" series at the Kennedy in Raleigh, NC.

Husband-and-wife Broadway actors Alan Campbell (Sunset Boulevard, Contact) and Lauren Kennedy (Monty Python's Spamalot, Sunset Boulevard) are artistic advisors for the series, which will boast six productions including the world premiere of the new play Gods of Autumn, written and directed by Jack Murphy.

The line-up for the 2008 summer season follows:

Directed by Lauren Kennedy Co-starring real-life brothers Matt Bogart (Aida, Miss Saigon, The Civil War) and Dan Bogart (Les Misérables)

July 23-Aug. 3
Directed by Kristen Coury

Personals
Aug. 6-17
Directed by Tito Hernandez

Gods of Autumn
Aug. 20-31
Written and directed by Jack Murphy
Co-starring Tony winner Jarrod Emick (Damn Yankees) and Jessica Phillips (Next to Normal).

About the upcoming season producer Michael Kennedy said in a statement, "This helps us sustain our goal of being a small professional theatre with high production value, and creates the best scenario I could imagine."

All performances run Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM with Sunday matinees at 3 PM. Tickets are now available by calling (919) 834-4000 or by visiting ticketmaster.com.
