PHOTO CALL: In the Heights Sing and Sign in NYC Store

The cast of In the Heights performed and signed copies of their cast recording June 5 at New York City's Virgin Megastore in Times Square.

All 11 principals — including Andréa Burns, Janet Decal, Robin De Jesús, Carlos Gomes, Mandy Gonzalez, Christopher Jackson, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Karen Olivo and Seth Stewart — were on hand to sign copies of the Ghostlight Records release. Members of the creative team also took part in the event.

In the Heights is billed as "the quintessential New York musical, about a vibrant and tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. The music pulses with the hopes and dreams of three generations as they struggle to forge an identity in a neighborhood on the brink of transition."

Miranda penned music and lyrics with a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes; orchestrations are by (music director) Alex Lacamoire and Bill Sherman; direction is by Thomas Kail and choreography is by Andy Blankenbuehler.
