Roundabout Theatre Company's new Off-Broadway production of Christopher Durang's comedy The Marriage of Bette and Boo began performances June 12 at the Laura Pels Theatre.
Christopher Evan Welch (Festen, The Crucible with Laura Linney) and Kate Jennings Grant (Radiant Baby, Proof) are the central couple with Tony Award winners John Glover (Love! Valour! Compassion!) and Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza) starring, respectively, as their in-laws, Karl Hudlocke and Margaret Brennan.
The cast also features Terry Beaver (Father Donnally), Heather Burns (Emily Brennan), Julie Hagerty (Soot Hudlocke), Adam Lefevre (Paul Brennan), Zoe Lister-Jones (Joan Brennan) and Charles Socarides (Matt).
The production is helmed by Walter Bobbie, whose last directorial credit with Roundabout was the 2003 Broadway production of Twentieth Century.
