Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda — co-star and co-creator of the 2008 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, In the Heights — rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange June 25.

In the Heights recently won four Tony Awards: Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

The musical at the Richard Rodgers Theatre is described as such: "In the Heights is about a vibrant and tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. The music pulses with the hopes and dreams of three generations as they struggle to forge an identity in a neighborhood on the brink of transition."
