Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story hits Hilton Head Island, SC, is currently playing the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina through July 27.

Drama Desk Award winner Russell Treyz directs the production featuring Matthew Gray (as Buddy Holly) opposite Ryan Finley (Ritchie Valens) and Greg Kalafatas (The Big Bopper).

The cast re-creating the life and music of the late fifties star also includes R. Bruce Connelly, Lori Eure, David Kimbell, Ian Lowe, Scott Moss, Jennifer Sanchez, Caroline Santorum, Frank Viveros, Frederick Willard and Jason Yachanin.
