By Andrew Gans
06 Jul 2008

Kyle Riabko

Kyle Riabko, who succeeded Jonathan Groff as Melchior in the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening, performs at Joe's Pub July 6.

The 20-year-old singing actor has titled his performance Kyle Riabko and Friends; show time is 7:30 PM. Audiences can expect a mix of pop, blues and classic R&B tunes.

Riabko, whose solo recording "Before I Speak" is currently available on the Columbia Records label, has toured with musicians including Jason Mraz, Maroon 5 and John Mayer. He can also be seen in "Instant Star 4," the teen music drama that will soon launch its new season on The N network.

It was also recently announced that Riabko will repeat his work as Melchior for the national tour of Spring Awakening.

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. There is a $15 cover charge (in advance) or $20 (at the door). For reservations call (212) 967-7555 or visit www.joespub.com.
