Love/Perfect/Change, Shrek, Jerry Herman Tribute and "Theater Talk" Featured on Playbill Radio

In addition to round-the-clock show tunes and Broadway news at the top of each hour, Playbill Radio offers the following special programming.

The schedule for the week of July 8–15 follows.

Center Stage
July 8: Special guests are Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts, writers of the long-running Off-Broadway revue I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which is closing at the end of July after a run of 5,003 performances. They tell host Robert Viagas how they hatched the idea for the show, what its long run has meant to their lives, and what they're working on next.

This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, July 9; 11 PM Wednesday, July 9; 2 PM Thursday, July 10; 11 AM Saturday, July 12; and 4 PM Sunday, July 13.

Edited versions of the "Center Stage" programs are available as podcasts.

Playbill Presents
July 9: Playbill Radio goes to the annual Kleban Awards ceremony, saluting the most promising songwriters and shows, samples of which will be performed. Among this year's winners are Jeanine Tesori and Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, who describe details of their forthcoming Broadway project, Shrek the Musical.

This week's "Playbill Presents" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, July 10; 11 PM Thursday, July 10; 2 PM Friday July 11; 4 PM Saturday, July 12; and 11 AM Sunday, July 13.

Composer Spotlight
July 10: Part two of our tour through the career of Jerry Herman, composer of Hello, Dolly! (quoted in the recent film WallE), Mame and his later work, Mack & Mabel, Grand Tour and La Cage aux Folles.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, July 11; 11 PM Friday, July 11; 8 PM Sunday, July 13; and 2 PM Monday, July 14.

"Theater Talk" on Playbill Radio
July 12: Writer/director Arthur Laurents discusses his musical theatre classic Gypsy.

Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, July 14; and 2 PM Tuesday, July 15.

This weekend's programming features Cheyenne Jackson at 11 AM Saturday, July 5 and 4 PM Sunday July 6, Stew at 4 PM Saturday, July 5 and 11 AM Sunday, July 6, a Jerry Herman tribute at 8 PM Sunday, July 6 and 2 PM Monday, July 7, and "Theater Talk" Betrayed at 7 PM Saturday, July 5, 11 PM Monday, July 7 and 2 PM Tuesday, July 8.
