Co-creators Jeff Bowen (music and lyrics) and Hunter Bell (book) star with fellow original cast members Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff. Opening is July 17. The performers originated their roles at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and then played an Off-Broadway engagement at the Vineyard Theatre.

Michael Berresse, who staged and choreographed the Off-Broadway run, returns for the Broadway version along with onstage music director Larry Pressgrove.

[title of show] "takes a thoroughly unique and comical look at the pleasures and perils of the artistic process as two struggling writers [Bell and Bowen] and two struggling actresses [Blackwell and Bickenstaff] take on the seemingly impossible task of creating a new musical about creating a new musical," according to show notes.
