Gurney, Tale of Two Cities and Finn Tribute Featured on Playbill Radio July 22-29

In addition to round-the-clock show tunes and Broadway news at the top of each hour, Playbill Radio offers the following special programming.

The schedule for the week of July 22-29 follows.

Center Stage
July 22: Special guest is A.R. Gurney, whose play Buffalo Gal opens Off-Broadway this month and kicks off the 2008-2009 season for the non-profit theatre company Primary Stages.

This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, July 23; 11 PM Wednesday, July 23; 2 PM Thursday, July 24; 11 AM Saturday, July 26; and 4 PM Sunday, July 27.

Edited versions of the "Center Stage" programs are available as podcasts.

Playbill Presents
July 23: Playbill Radio visits the rehearsal hall to talk with the creators and stars of the new Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities, which begins previews Aug. 19 at the Hirschfeld Theatre.

This week's "Playbill Presents" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, July 24; 11 PM Thursday, July 24; 2 PM Friday July 25; 4 PM Saturday, July 26; and 11 AM Sunday, July 27.

Composer Spotlight
July 24: A tour through the quirky career of William Finn, a Tony winner for Falsettos, whose other projects have included Romance in Hard Times, Elegies, The Royal Family, Infinite Joy, Make Me a Song and the long-running Broadway musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, July 25; 11 PM Friday, July 25; 8 PM Sunday, July 27; and 2 PM Monday, July 28.

"Theater Talk" on Playbill Radio
July 26: Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice discuss the devoted fan base of Jersey Boys and the show's recent opening in Las Vegas.

Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, July 28; and 2 PM Tuesday, July 29.

This weekend's programming features [title of show] Stars at 11 AM Saturday, July 19 and 4 PM Sunday, July 20; Gypsy Recording Session at 4 PM Saturday, July 19 and 11 AM Sunday, July 20; a Larry Grossman Tribute at 8 PM Sunday, July 20 and 2 PM Monday, July 21; and "Theater Talk" Rent Farewell at 7 PM Saturday, July 19, 11 PM Monday, July 21 and 2 PM Tuesday, July 22.
