In addition to round-the-clock show tunes and Broadway news at the top of each hour, Playbill Radio offers the following special programming.

The schedule for the week of July 29-Aug. 5 follows.

Center Stage
July 29: Special guests are two of the unsung creative minds behind the Tony-winning South Pacific revival: Ted Sperling, who conducts the orchestra, and Bruce Pomahac, who reconstructed the orchestrations for the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization. They play samples of the new cast album and discuss how a combination of sleuthing and artistry re-created the rich sound of the original. Part one of two parts.

This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, July 30; 11 PM Wednesday, July 30; 2 PM Thursday, July 31; 11 AM Saturday, August 2; and 4 PM Sunday, August 3.

Edited versions of the "Center Stage" programs are available as podcasts.

Playbill Presents
July 30: Playbill Radio goes inside the rehearsal hall to talk with Dolly Parton, Allison Janney and other creators and stars of the forthcoming new Broadway musical 9 to 5.

This week's "Playbill Presents" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, July 31; 11 PM Thursday, July 31; 2 PM Friday August 1; 4 PM Saturday, August 2; and 11 AM Sunday, August 3.

Edited versions of the "Playbill Presents" programs are available as podcasts.

Composer Spotlight
July 31: A tour through the career of the songwriting team of Rodgers and Hart, who gave us "Babes in Arms," "Blue Moon," "Spring Is Here" and dozens of other standards. Part one of two parts.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, August 1; 11 PM Friday, August 1; 8 PM Sunday, August 3; and 2 PM Monday, August 4.

"Theater Talk" on Playbill Radio
Aug. 2: Legendary actress Elaine Stritch, critic John Simon and author Barry Day discuss the life of the British playwright-performer Noel Coward as seen through his correspondence (collected by Day into the book, "The Letters of Noel Coward").

Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, August 4; and 2 PM Tuesday, August 5.

This weekend's programming features A.R. Gurney at 11 AM Saturday, July 26 and 4 PM Sunday, July 27; A Tale of Two Cities at 4 PM Saturday, July 26 and 11 AM Sunday, July 27; a William Finn tribute at 8 PM Sunday, July 27 and 2 PM Monday, July 28; and "Theater Talk" Jersey Boys at 7 PM Saturday, July 26, 11 PM Monday, July 28 and 2 PM Tuesday, July 29.
