Fourth Edition of Playbill Broadway Yearbook Available for Pre-Order

The fourth edition of The Playbill Broadway Yearbook is now available for pre-order.

The comprehensive, 528-page hardcover book features a chapter for each of the 70 shows that ran on Broadway between June 2007 and May 2008. Both the long-running shows and the brand-new ones are included.

Copies can be pre-ordered now at PlaybillStore.com for $22.95. Those who place an order at PlaybillStore.com by Aug. 14 will receive their copy before the book arrives in stores Sept. 2.

The Yearbook creators collaborated with a correspondent from each show to bring readers a uniquely intimate look at the special moments and relationships that develop during rehearsals and performances. Correspondents this year included Patti LuPone and Leigh Ann Larkin for Gypsy, Orfeh for Legally Blonde, Mandy Gonzalez for In the Heights, Michael Longoria for Jersey Boys, Max von Essen for Les Misérables and Eisa Davis for Passing Strange, among others.

Actor hangouts, memorable ad-libs, celebrity visitors, even memories of performance interruptions and catastrophes are among the fun facts collected in the comprehensive volume.
