As previously announced, Spare Some Change: NYC Artists for Barack Obama is the title of the Aug. 11 concert to benefit Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

The 8 PM performance, which was originally scheduled to play New World Stages, will now be presented at the Fifth Floor Theatre, which is located on the campus of New York University.

The evening will include an original song penned by Henry Krieger and Bill Russell performed by Tony winner Lillias White; appearances from "One Life to Live" stars Jason Tam, BethAnn Bonner and Kamar de los Reyes; songs from Andrew Lippa, Sarah Schlesinger, Mike Reid, Kirsten Guenther and Joy Sun; and performances from Celia Keenan-Bolger, Maddy Wyatt, the casts of Hair and the short-lived Glory Days, Mamma Mia!'s Carrie Manolakos, Grease's Lindsay Mendez, Company's Teri Ralston, musician-actor Seth Rudetsky, Lance Rubin, magician Denis Tsvang, hip hop artists Jeffrey Vann and Kevin "Skyrocket" Williams, modern dance artist Philip Montana, tap dancer Garrett Minniti and singer Shaina Taub.

In a previous statement, producers of Spare Some Change said, "This is such an important time for all of us in this country. As many already know, Barack will not accept public funding from lobbyists or political action committees, but instead relies solely on a broad base of individual donors – such as ourselves – to ensure that his campaign answers to no one but the people. Please join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so we can make history." All proceeds will be donated to Senator Obama's campaign.

Tickets, priced $30 and $60, are available by e-mailing sparesomechangenyc@gmail.com.

The Fifth Floor Theater at New York University is located at 111 Second Avenuue (between 6th and 7th Streets) in the East Village.
