| photo by Carol Rosegg | The Aug. 7 broadcast of the "Charlie Rose" show will feature interviews with the star (Laurence Fishburne) and playwright (George Stevens Jr.) of Broadway's Thurgood.
Fishburne and Stevens Jr. will discuss the one-man show based on the life of the late Civil Rights great and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. Thurgood, as previously announced, will end its extended limited engagement at Broadway's Booth Theatre Aug. 17.
The PBS talk show will also feature a preview of the film "Elegy," including chats with director Isabel Coixet and actors Penelope Cruz and Dennis Hopper.
"Charlie Rose" airs in the New York metropolitan area on WNET Channel 13, from 11 PM-midnight; check local listings.
