A new version of The Diva-lution of Molly Pope, which was seen last spring at Don't Tell Mama, will make its debut Aug. 31 at Joe's Pub.
Directed and produced by Ben Rimalower (Joy, The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero), Diva-lution will play the intimate nightspot located within the Public Theater at 7 PM. Musical director Sonny Paladino will lead a small band.
Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Pope's renditions of Dietz and Schwartz's "By Myself," Cole Porter's "It's Alright With Me" and The Cardigans' "Love Fool."
Molly Pope has been seen on the New York stage in Machinal, The Merchant of Venice and Twelfth Night: The Drinking Game. She is a member of Dreamscape Theater and The Dorothy Parker Society.
Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. Tickets, priced $20, are available by calling (212) 967-7555 or by visiting www.joespub.com.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
