Laws, who most recently appeared as Amy in the lauded 2006 revival of Company, has appeared on Broadway in Cabaret and The Boy from Oz. She will be joined onstage by Brian Gallagher as Kathie Lee's first husband, Paul, Charles Karel (Dear World) as Regis Philbin, Jan Pessano as Anita Bryant, Rob Sheridan as Frank Gifford, Paul Anthony Stewart (Fiddler on the Roof) as Larry Gatlin and Tia Zorne (Beauty and the Beast) as the Therapist.
The ensemble for She Can't Believe She Said That! comprises Laura Beth Wells, Daryl Getman, Dustienne Miller and Patrick O'Neill.
Josh Hecht (Christine Jorgensen Reveals) will direct the NYMF production with music direction by Howard Levitsky, orchestration by Frank Perri and choreography by Tara Jeanne Vallee.
The design team includes Raquel Davis (lighting design), Tei Blow (sound design), Robin Vest (scenic design), Jacob Hanson (properties), Ryan Rossetto (costume design) and Aaron Rhyne (video/projection design).
She Can't Believe She Said That! will run Sept. 26-Oct. 5 at the TBG Theatre, located at 312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.
