Joining Broadway's Boeing-Boeing, Germann Is Juggler and Pyle Is German

Greg Germann and Missi Pyle will join the cast of the 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Play Revival, Boeing-Boeing Sept. 9, replacing Bradley Whitford and Tony nominee Mary McCormack. Tickets are on sale to January 2009.

They join Christine Baranski, 2008 Tony Award winner Mark Rylance, Gina Gershon and Kathryn Hahn in Marc Camoletti's classic '60s sex comedy of errors — about a man (Germann) and his three international stewardess fiancées — at Broadway's Longacre Theatre. Matthew Warchus directed. Pyle will play the German air hostess, Gretchen.

A new block of tickets has been put on sale through Jan. 4, 2009. For tickets and information, visit Telecharge.com or BoeingOnBroadway.com.

Germann played Richard Fish on the long running series "Ally McBeal," and has also appeared in the films "Talladega Nights," "Friends with Money" and "Sweet November," among many others. Pyle is best known for the films "Bringing Down the House" (memorably brawling with Queen Latifah); as "the deadliest woman on earth, Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitchsky" in the hit comedy "Dodgeball"; and as the lovable alien Laliari in the comedy "Galaxy Quest."

Boeing-Boeing won 2008 Tony Awards for Best Play Revival and Best Actor (Mark Rylance) and Drama Desk Awards for Best Play Revival and Best Actor (Rylance). The show received four additional Tony nominations (for Warchus, McCormack and sound and costume design).

In Boeing-Boeing, "an architect living in Paris (Germann) has been successfully juggling three flight attendant fiancées (Gershon, Hahn and Pyle) with his housekeeper (Baranski) reluctantly playing romantic air-traffic controller as they fly in and out of his swank bachelor pad. But when an old school pal (Rylance) visits, things get rather turbulent. Schedules change, flights are delayed and chaos ensues in this whirl of mayhem and matchmaking."

Boeing-Boeing plays at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street) Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM, Wednesday and Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.
