The 8 PM event, according to press notes, will focus on "the fresh approach that composers have recently introduced to Broadway, attracting audiences through a new range of media, from YouTube to MTV."
The panel will comprise Tony-winning Spring Awakening composer Duncan Sheik, Tony-winning In the Heights creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda, "Hairspray" film director Adam Shankman, Tony-winning Legally Blonde director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell and original Rent star Anthony Rapp.
An exclusive afterparty at The Russian Team Room will follow at 9:30 PM.
The evening is created by The Notables, Carnegie Hall's membership program for music enthusiasts in their twenties and thirties.
