South Pacific Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara will be honored during the Great Neck Arts Center's (GNAC) annual gala fundraiser Nov. 10.

Entitled Stars of Broadway, the evening will be held at The Tilles Center at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University.

The tribute to O'Hara will feature performances by Rent's Adam Kantor and Movin' Out's Wade Preston. Local politicians and leaders in the Long Island Arts Community will also be part of the one-night-only event.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a VIP cocktail reception followed by dinner at 8 PM and the entertainment.

Several awards will also be presented: Regina Gil, founder and executive director, GNAC, will receive the Visionary Award; Joseph Gil, the president and co-founder of Akiva Gil Company, Inc., will receive the Founders Award; and Congressman Gary Ackerman will be the Inspiration Award recipient. Awards will be presented by Honorable Tom DiNapoli (New York State Comptroller), Honorable Jon Kaiman (Town of North Hempstead Supervisor) and Ralph Heiman, executive vice president/treasurer, GNAC.

Proceeds will support GNAC's arts programs that serve thousands of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens residents.

Prior to South Pacific, Kelli O'Hara was most recently on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of The Pajama Game, earning a Tony nomination for her performance as Babe. She was also Tony-nominated for her work as Clara in The Light in the Piazza. O'Hara's other Broadway credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, Sweet Smell of Success and Dracula, the Musical. She was also seen in the Reprise! staging of Sunday in the Park with George. O'Hara debut solo recording, "Wonder in the World," is available on the Ghostlight Records label.
