Brand-New State: Oklahoma! Begins Paper Mill Playhouse Run Sept. 17

The Paper Mill Playhouse's production of the classic Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II musical Oklahoma! begins performances at the New Jersey venue Sept. 17.

Directed by James Brennan with choreography by Peggy Hickey, the vintage musical will officially open Sept. 21 at 7:30 PM. Performances will continue at the Paper Mill through Oct. 19.

The cast is headed by Adam Monley (Curly), Brynn O'Malley (Laurey), Andrew Varela (Jud Fry), Louisa Flaningam (Aunt Eller), Megan Sikora (Ado Annie), Brian Sears (Will Parker), John Jellison (Andrew Carnes), Joseph Kolinski (Ike Skidmore) and Jonathan Brody (Ali Hakim).

The ensemble comprises Ashely Adamek, J. David Anderson, Dan Bogart, Stephen Carrasco, Drew Franklin, Cynthia Leigh Heim, Anne Horak, Ryan Jackson, Danielle Jordan, Sam Kiernan, Kimberly Lemieux, Sabra Lewis, Lauren Marshall, Ryan Sandberg, Steve Schepis, Kiira Schmidt, Elizabeth Stacey, Samantha Sturm, Kyle Vaughn and Ryan Worsing.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! score includes "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," "The Surrey with the Fringe On Top," "I Cain't Say No," "People Will Say We're in Love" and "Oklahoma."

The production features scenic design by Michael Allen, costume design by Gail Baldoni, lighting design by Mitchell F. Dana, sound design by Randy Hansen and hair and wig design by Mark Adam Rampmeyer. The production stage manager is Peter Hanson.
