Cry-Baby writers David Javerbaum and Adam Schlesinger have penned songs for Stephen Colbert's "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!"
The Nov. 23 Christmas special, which will air Nov. 23 at 10 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central, features special guests Jon Stewart, Feist, Elvis Costello, John Legend, Willie Nelson and Toby Keith. A DVD of the one-hour special will be released Nov. 25.
Original songs penned by Javerbaum and Schlesinger for the special include "Another Christmas Song," "Have I Got a Present For You," "Little Dealer Boy," "Hannukah," "Nutmeg," "Please Be Patient" and "There Are Much Worse Things to Believe In."
Among the bonus features on the DVD are a book burning Yule log, a video advent calendar and alternate endings for the special. A portion of the DVD proceeds will benefit Feeding America.
Javerbaum, who serves as executive producer of "The Daily Show," made his Broadway debut last spring with collaborator and Fountains of Wayne band member Adam Schlesinger on the John Waters musical Cry-Baby.
