The Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys, which continues to play to sell-out crowds at the August Wilson Theatre, welcomes a new Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi Sept. 30.

Jarrod Spector assumes the role of Four Seasons lead singer Valli, Dominic Nolfi steps into the role of Tommy DeVito, and Matt Bogart begins his run as Nick Massi at the 7 PM performance.

The actors succeed, respectively, Michael Longoria, Tony winner Christian Hoff and J. Robert Spencer. Longoria and Hoff played their final performances Sept. 28; Spencer finished his run Sept. 14 (the role of Massi has been played by John Leone in the interim). Both Hoff and Spencer were original Jersey Boys players.

Spector, Nolfi and Bogart join a cast that features Sebastian Arcelus (Bob Gaudio) with Peter Gregus and Mark Lotito. The ensemble comprises Miles Aubrey, Bridget Berger, Kris Coleman, Douglas Crawford, Ken Dow, Heather Ferguson, Russell Fischer, Eric Gutman, Katie O'Toole, Joe Payne, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Sara Schmidt, Eric Schneider and Jake Speck.

Jarrod Spector has been seen on Broadway in Les Misérables and in the national tours of Jersey Boys and Les Miz. His other theatrical credits include Hamlet, Our Country's Good, The Viy and Twist.

Dominic Nolfi is an original cast member of the La Jolla and Broadway productions of Jersey Boys and was also seen as Danny in the European tour of Grease. His other stage credits include The Art of Success, The Who's Tommy and subUrbia, and his screen credits include "Zombie Prom" and "Broadway Under the Stars."

Matt Bogart was seen as Paul in the Kennedy Center mounting of Stephen Sondheim's Company, and his Broadway credits include Aida, The Civil War, Miss Saigon and Smokey Joe's Cafe. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, Bogart has appeared in regional productions of Camelot, Carousel and Side Show. He was also part of the premiere cast of Frank Wildhorn's Camille Claudel at Goodspeed, and his recent theatrical credits include Himself and Nora (Old Globe), Phantom (Music Theatre of Wichita), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Kennedy Theatre) and Romance/Romance (Paper Mill Playhouse).

Jersey Boys, according to press notes, is "the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. It's a journey of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide — all before they were 30."

The creative team includes Tony-winning director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo as well as Klara Zieglerova (scenic design), Jess Goldstein (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound design), Michael Clark (projections design), Charles LaPointe (wig and hair design), Steve Orich (orchestrations) and Ron Melrose (music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music).

Jersey Boys premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in October 2004 before arriving in November 2005 at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre. The Broadway production garnered four Tony Awards: for stars John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, lighting designer Howell Binkley and for Best Musical.

The award-winning production features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice.

There are currently five productions of Jersey Boys: New York, London, Chicago, Las Vegas and the North American tour. A sixth production will open in Melbourne, Australia, in March 2009.
