The original cast recording of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, the dance-heavy theatrical event based on the hit movie, is in U.S. stores Sept. 30 from the Masterworks Broadway label.

The release coincides with the Sept. 28 Chicago launch of the Broadway-aimed national touring production, which reunites the London creative team.

Re-imagined for stage by the original screenwriter Eleanor Bergstein, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage "has audiences around the world experiencing this timeless work as never before in a production combining all the intensity and excitement of live theatre with new scenes and thrilling new dances," according to the producers.

Executive produced by Jimmy Ienner and produced by Conrad Helfrich, the original cast recording features the Academy Award-winning song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life," "Do You Love Me?," and new music from the smash stage production, which has also done big business in Toronto and Australia.

Original movie and stage album executive producer Jimmy Ienner stated, "I am very proud to continue the 'Dirty Dancing' legacy in its newest form, and to bring the original cast recording to the U.S. public following their demand and enthusiasm for this album."

The track listing for the original cast recording of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage includes:

1. This Magic Moment
2. Merengue
3. Johnny's Mambo
4. Do You Love Me?
5. This Land Is Your Land / We Shall Overcome

The creative team includes director James Powell, choreographer Kate Champion, plus Stephen Brimson Lewis (set design), Conrad Helfrich (music supervisor), Tim Mitchell (lighting design), Bobby Aitken (sound design), Jon Driscoll (video and projection design), Jennifer Irwin (costume design) and Craig Wilson (Latin and Ballroom dance choreographer).
