Two people continents away are united in the Off-Broadway revival of Lee Blessing's Two Rooms, which begins performances Oct. 2.
The cast features Adding Machine's Adinah Alexander as well as Patrick Boll (Rise of Dorothy Hale, Boys in the Band), Angela Christian (Woman in White) and Michael Laurence (Talk Radio). Laurence replaces the previously announced Michael Milligan.
Two Rooms explores the relationship and lives of a man held hostage in the Middle East and his American wife who is attempting to reconnect with him by any means possible – ultimately stripping her home of all its furniture in order to share her husband's experience in captivity.
The design team comprises Kevin Judge (scenic design), Thom Weaver (lighting design), Jennifer Caprio (costume design) and Scott Stauffer (sound design).
The Platform Theatre Group production marks the third New York City presentation of Two Rooms in 2008, following productions by Roust Theatre Company and Three's Company Productions.
Tickets, priced $58, are available by phoning (212) 279-4200 or by visiting TicketCentral.
The Lion Theatre is located at 410 West 42nd Street in Manhattan.
