All the King's Men, with Procaccino and Marks, Opens at the Intiman Oct. 3

All the King's Men, Adrian Hall's stage adaptation of Robert Penn Warren's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, officially opens at the Intiman Theatre Oct. 3.
The production began previews Sept. 26 and continues through Nov. 8 under the direction of Pam MacKinnon (The Occupant).
John Procaccino (Good Boys and True) stars as flamboyant political figure Willie Stark in the classic work that is offered as the final installment of the Intiman's American Cycle.
Hall's stage adaptation of Warren's novel is described by the Intiman as "a monumental tale of politics, power and history," tracing the ascent of politician Willie Stark in an unnamed Southern U.S. state in the 1930's.
Joining Procaccino onstage are Leo Marks (Defiance) as Stark's political right-hand man, Jack Burden, as well as Philip Davidson (Judge Irwin), Lori Larsen (Mother), Eddie Levi Lee (Tiny Duffy), Todd Licea (Adam Stanton), Deirdre Madigan (Sadie Burke), Peter Dylan O’Connor (Sugar-Boy), Larry Paulsen (Ellis Burden), Betsy Schwartz (Anne Stanton), Zaki Abdelhamid, Amy Fleetwood, Mark Fullerton, Alyssa Keene, Edd Key, James Lapan, Marty Mukhalian and Michael Patten.
Designing All the King's Men are scenic designer Tony Cisek, costume designer Deb Trout, lighting designer Colin K. Bills and sound designer Joseph Swartz. Original musical arrangements and musical direction are handled by Edd Key.
As part of the mission of the American Cycle, the Intiman will offer a series of community readings and discussions about All the King's Men as well as high school playwriting intensives and lectures on Warren's 1946 novel.
