By Adam Hetrick
02 Oct 2008

A Chorus Line's Deidre Goodwin will take part in Exposed: The Songs of Andrew Byrne at the Zipper Factory on Oct. 5.

Described as "Forbidden Broadway for trashy sluts," songwriter Byrne has teamed with lyricists Mark Blankenship and Lisa Rothauser to create an evening that "takes on everything from Sarah Palin to bathroom mishaps."

Amy Rogers directs the 8 PM concert that will also feature performances by Lisa Anzelmo, Jodie Bentley, George Brescia, Kelly Briscoe, Michael Diliberto, The Glamazons, Shanna Lesniak, Jen Mintzer, Ariela Morgenstern (Adding Machine), Ryan Murray (Lone Star Love), Jenny Neale, Ricky Oliver, Chuck Ragsdale (The Ark, Ella Minnow Pea) and Lisa Rothauser (The Producers).

In addition to his work as a composer, Byrne has served as pianist and conductor for Les Misérables and A Class Act on Broadway, as well as readings of Triumph of Love and john and jen at Lincoln Center.

Tickets, priced $15, are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or by visiting www.thezipperfactory.com.

The Zipper Factory is located in Manhattan at 336 West 37th Street.
